Fresh off an amazing run as Effie in the West End production of Dreamgirls, Marisha Wallace is already booked and in rehearsal for her next project!

Look at what baking can do! Marisha will be starring in a role she literally manifested for herself, Becky in Waitress the musical.

When Waitress on Broadway was initially auditioning for the role of Becky two years ago, Marisha was one of the final people in callbacks for the show.  The role ultimately went to Keala Settle (The Greatest Showman, Hands on a Hardbody). A few weeks later she Wallace received the call that would take her from Broadway to the West End for Dreamgirls.

Now after playing her dream role, Waitress has resurfaced, and she will stay in London to star in the West End production. Alongside Katharine McPhee and Laura Baldwin, Marisha will be ‘Opening Up’ the diner in London’s Adelphi Theatre. Previews start February 8th before an official March 7th opening.
