Once again, Condola Rashad rocked the stage at Joe’s Pub this past Tuesday. Her and her backup singers, The Stoop Kids, bring down the house with such an amazing vocal blend and tons of originality. You might remember her residency at Pianos in February. We thought it was so good we had to see her again. We weren’t the only ones. We saw some familiar faces and some first timers. We also met some amazing stars of the Broadway and film world. Ruben Santiago Hudson, Michael McElroy, and Condola’s mother, Phylicia Rashad were among those who attended. As well as Trip To Bountiful cast members Cuba Gooding Jr. & Vanessa Willams came out to support.
The music was fantastic. We got to hear some songs we heard before and also some we hadn’t! We can not wait for the album, #Letter9! We’ll make sure we’re the first ones to have it. Check out some of the pictures taken at Joe’s Pub that night.
