On Monday, January 16th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Blackout for Human Rights and the Campaign for Black Male Achievement (CBMA) will Host Their Second Annual MLK Now at the Historic Riverside Church in Harlem. MLK Now is a Special MLK Day Event to Celebrate and Honor the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Explore How His Message and Vision Continue to Resonate in Today’s Racial, Social and Political Landscape. Taking Place at Harlem’s Riverside Church – Where Dr. King Performed his Famous 1967 Speech “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence” – the Event will Feature Historic Speeches Performed by Some of Today’s Leading Actors and Artists. MLK Now 2017 will Also Include Special Live Musical Performances and Conversations.

Artists and Entertainers Confirmed at MLK Now 2017 Include Actor Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black), Actor David Oyelowo (Selma), Actor Olivia Wilde (Vinyl), Artist Michelle Williams, Actor LaLa Anthony (Double Play), Actor Andre Holland (Moonlight), Actor Omari Hardwick (Power) and Special Surprise Guests. Music Performers at This Year’s MLK Now Include Mary May’s Erica Cambell and Samora Pinderhughes. The Event will be Hosted by Comedian Baratunde Thurston.
