We Are Trayvon: Black Broadway In The Fight For Justice
And once the verdict in the tragic was read, NOT GUILTY, it began. Tears for many. Anger for some. Hurt and confusion for most. People took to their twitter, facebook, texts, and emails to voice their opinions. Everyone from Audra McDonald to Whoopi Goldberg, Forest Whitaker, Debbie Allen, Anika Noni Rose, Valisia LeKae, Tracie Thoms had a voice. A voice that Trayvon does not. We are Trayvon.
Our hearts go out to the parents and family of Trayvon Martin. We feel your hurt. We understand and we are sorry. R.I.P. Trayvon!
